Chemistry Lab Outreach Program

The Chemistry Lab Outreach Program is an amazing culminating event; wherein, students, after working as scientists in the classrooms using the pre-lab lessons, have the opportunity to interact and learn from science students at UCSB. These intelligent, patient, and well-trained graduate and undergraduate students coupled with dynamic experiments are primary sources of inspiration to fifth grade students for entertaining the possiblity in a career in science as well as being able to attend a UC school. This is the most well-designed, interactive, organized, and creative science program/field trip I have ever experienced in ten years of teaching. - Tamara Mann, Juanamaria Elementary, Ventura
